How to Install a SIS Indicator in NinjaTrader 8

These steps apply to both purchased indicators and 14-day free trials.

1. Download the Indicator ZIP File

Download the indicator file exactly as provided.
Do not unzip the file.

2. Open NinjaTrader 8

Launch the NinjaTrader 8 Dektop. Make sure you use NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1.5.0 or later.

3. Import the Indicator

  1. In NinjaTrader, open the Tools menu.

  2. Select Import → NinjaScript Add-On.

  3. Choose the downloaded ZIP file and click Open.

  4. Wait until NinjaTrader confirms a successful import.

4. Add the Indicator to Your Chart

  1. Open or create a chart.

  2. Right-click on the chart and select Indicators.

  3. Find the indicator in the list; Smart Indicator Solutions Indicators are listed under SIS.

  4. Click Add and adjust settings as desired.

  5. Click OK.

5. Restart NinjaTrader (Recommended)

Restarting NinjaTrader is recommended after installation so that all components load correctly.

If the indicator does not appear, please contact Support and include your NinjaTrader version and the exact error message.
